Just fill a bag with some ice, it's cheaper than buying ice packs. And make sure to use styro to insulate the box. Without styro nothing will stay cool.

The best way I found is leave the water and sand in the tank, use 3/4" clear tubing, put a 5 gallon bucket on the floor, stick one end of the tubing in the tank, give a strong suck on the other end (quickly) then put it into the bucket, siphon the sand out, once the bucket is full of water dump...

1 thing the salt has going for it is it's made in Germany.

Try blowing it off the rock, if it doesn't move it could be black sponge if it blows off it's cyano and add more flow.

I have the 4 bulb fixture and no heat from the fixture, even after being on for 8hrs I can still put my hand on top of it and it's just warm. Do you have the vents block on the the fixture? is it under a canopy?
