Cause I've been using RC salt for years and had a major problem thanks to a bad batch, synthetic sea salts aren't always the best now, I'm hearing bad things in the manufacturing of synthetic salts, a lot of brands are now being made in China to save money and that is one of the big problems...
What size is the tank? If it's 72, 80 or 90 gal bow Perfecto makes a nice canopy with doors on the front. I have one, here's a old pic from when I first setup my tank
H2Ocean salt....It seems to have really good numbers, I plan on trying it once I go through the rest of my RC

definitely go with the actinic + bulbs, the aqua blue is a 12K daylight bulb, that with the GE's are giving you the yellow color, you need a couple of actinic's (blue) bulbs to even out the color.
It all depends on the type of SPS you keep. I used to keep digi's and milli's when I had my 2X65 PC's setup on my 29g. I would say they'd be ok for a few day's if you had an emergency.
Patriot, I don't know if you realized it but that model Tunze is not controllable. if your looking for one to connect to a controller you'll need the 6101 or the 6055 nano models

Sunlight Supply is one of the better brands out there, they were one of the first company's to come out with the T5 lighting. As far as the bulbs I'd replace the midday with the GE 6500K
