the seams look very ragged to me, It doesn't look to be in that great a shape for a tank only a year old. I've had tanks that were 10+ years old that looked to be in better shape. Me personally i wouldn't take the chance on the tank. good luck on whatever you decide to do

I wish i could have one. I wouldn't even put one in my 215 for at least 6+ months because it is too new and it would starve and die. Pretty soon i will be buying pods from different sources to boost my population so i can have one

That's absolutely amazing, I've heard of people not being able to grow xenia and kenya but i've never heard about not being able to grow zoanthids. I guess in this hobby you learn something new every day.
sorry for going off topic guys

If you can't get someone to give you pods to start your fuge up, i would buy a few bottles of tiggerpods to get you started. I know AO carries them, but call around to your LFS and see who carries them. IF your tank isn't 75G or bigger it will not support a mandarin. they eat all day long and...
your tank looks great, i would take it slow though, you have a lot going on in a very short period of time. most tanks take months to mature and become stable. One thing this hobby requires is plenty of patience. good luck and keep the pics coming. And i agree with Ed, the swap meet is a great...
I agree with Mike, If it is splitting it will not blow away, the foot moves with it. If you want to move it, you can cut it at the base but you need some foot on the ricordia. and hold it down where you want it with bridal netting. Also you will get a new ricordia growing from the foot left...
I would send them an email and set a drop dead deadline maybe a week or two max and request payment in full now via paypal or cash upon pickup. You holding it for a few weeks wasn't part of the Ebay ad correct? I wouldn't worry about the bad feedback in that case you didn't do anything wrong if...
Is that Kaelini or Pukani rock? either way it's great looking rock. i have both types from Walt Smith and i love it. I recently bought Tonga fusion and it's now probably my favorite type.

if the nut and washer are on the outside a large wrench will work but you have to be very careful, but if it's on the inside for that you need some luck
good luck

Tangs in general need plenty of room and the two you have get pretty big so in a confined space they get pretty agressive sometimes especially conspecifics. Yours may or may not settle down and get along. You might have to make a choice of which tang you want to keep. I agree with Phyl and keep...
it will basically grow indefinately. you need to prune it in order to manage it. you have several choices. give it away, Sell it, feed it to your fish (i.e. tangs or any other algae grazers) or throw it out. I would use throw it out as last resort.
just my opinion.
