Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
If that's the finished product, I'm a bit disappointed. Lousy aquascaping, certainly fake corals, and only a few fish in there that I could see.
IMO, they could have made it much nicer... especially given the size of it.
Wish I lived closer. I have a JBJ 28 nano that I wanted to use for seahorses but needs a new hood. Any chance you'll be attending our April Event on 4/21/12?
I don't know much about the pistol/goby pair thing... but I'd like to make a different suggestion for the sand replacement.
Instead of putting the rock on the bottom, I'd recommend either putting egg crate down first or making some "stands" our of pvc pipe to keep your rock off the bottom...
Don, I think we should start by going thru the list in That Last Link they provided and find the closest one that accepts PC bulbs... then contact them to find out if they would accept them from us (being an 501c3 corp) for free.
Congrats to you and the whole family.
PS... loved the idea of a bank in the delivery room. Why would she have a problem with that?

I don't know for sure but it looks to me like it's ready to split or grow another head.
I'd wait for a reply from someone with experience on this though.
Good luck.
I agree with a lot that's been said so far. If all those dip options don't help any, then it's either flow lack of nutrients that's bothering them. I'd suggest doing a bigger water change initially (to help get more trace elements into the system ASAP) and then do some smaller water changes...
How heavy was the flow in the QT? I lost a set of 3 bangai after only a couple days due to a heavy flow. They seemed to weak to fight the current and just gave up. :(
If the worms had "feet" they weren't spionid worms. Those grow a tube made out of sand that they live in and don't move around.
Could it be a bristleworm? (Scroll down further on the page I linked.)
Sorry to hear about the breakdown. Where are you located though?
Assuming you're close enough, I'll take the superman chalice and some of the flower petal monti (size to be determined when I get there I guess.)
Matt - Yea, I hear you on the outlet box. It worries me too and my plan was to put it above the rails originally... but it ended up sticking up higher than the frame so I went under the rail instead. I'll take a look at it tonight to see if maybe I can unhook it and mount it outside of that side...
Well, it's been a few weeks since I updated the ToTT thread. I need to clone myself so I have more time to keep up with everything going on, lol.
Anyway, I managed to get the canopy painted/stained/clear-coated, drilled the hole for wiring (restain/clear-coat that part again cause I'm an...
+3 on Pineapple sponge. Good call Jim.
As for the worms, I'm going to guess they're spionid worms based on your description and the fact that they're fairly common in reef tanks. Can you compare it to those on This Site and let us know?
